Serious lack of customer service at this establishment. The hostess or server at the front counter does not greet customers as their coming in nor does she thank you as your leaving. Buffet was dried out & cold & is also overpriced for what little they have on it. My wife ordered a margarita however they have no drink menu so your just guessing & hoping your ordering something good & worthwhile. The drinks were in very tiny glasses & also expensive for the size though very strong. We've been to many other Mexican restaurants & the drinks are pricey however huge & also strong but not overwhelmingly strong. We did notice that Mexican patrons that entered & left were greeted by the girl at the counter but others that were not Hispanic got nothing, sad. For us this place was very disappointing & we will not be returning. This was our first & only time at this restaurant.
The food is Always very Good!
GOOD FOOD. Great service. Prices have gone up. Some items have gotten better while others seemed to have suffered. Could have just been an off night. Taco shells were stale and very hard.
Very good food with decent prices. Be sure to check out the buffet on Sundays.
Pros:- Excellent Aesthetic- Never ran out of chips and Salsa- Waiters were greatCons:- Payed 10 dollars for a Chimichanga; the only food inside it was meat. That's it. No sides came with it either other than a small pile of lettuce.- One of the salsa containers was legitimately tomato paste. No one at the table wanted to eat it, it was that badTLDR: High quality people and high quality aesthetic, but the food was a 2/5
I love this place. Definitely worth a visit when you're in town.
Okay Mexican style food but bad margaritas. The service was excellent but there are better Mexican places in Tucson, AZ.
Great food, great margaritas, like the atmosphere, just an all-around good place!
There was no one in the restaurant when we got there except for the employees which greeted us with a smile. Service was excellent I have the enchilada everything very delicious changing table hot and reasonable pricing
The Midway Molina's closed and the one on Wilmot is kinda yucky / dirty. This is a good replacement for those. This one on Grant never seems too busy (according to my brother who goes all the time). The cheese crisp was perfect. I had the carne asada tacos with beans on the side. Nice. Small tortillas but a good portion of meat. We were a party of ten and everyone enjoyed their dishes. Mom recommends the house special enchiladas. And she really enjoyed her margarita! 💗. Bring the whole family! We'll be back!
Our favorite place on the East side for refried beans and red chilli. The meat generally melts in your mouth and for our taste, the beans are delicious. Like their chips and salsa too.
Decent local Mexican chain restaurant. Consistent, clean place with helpful staff
Good weekday lunch special! Not too busy other than a table of 12. Good service as well.
Kitchen closed 45 min before restaurant closing time. Went in to make a to go order and was told that kitchen was already closed! Seems to me like someone just didn't want to have to stay til closing time. Bad business if you ask me!
Energetic atmosphere with good drinks and delicious food.
Favorite Mexican food rest. To go to. Near by home and a.m happy
Pretty good food, huge portions. Drinks kinda blah. Staff is great .
The Food and Service was Excellent. Very Pleasant and Enjoyed Our Time With Family and Friends. Wish Casa Grande had a Casa Molina. Will recommend to Family and Friends.
Excellent Sunday buffet! There's something for everyone. Always been one of my favorite places in Tucson.
Too overpriced.. especially when server appears unfriendly & unattentive (no requested cream for coffee). 1 positive thing my bus person was great..so I tipped her instead!
Cheap, hearty lunch specials, fast friendly service.
So gross! 4 of us didn't finish our meals not did we take them home for the dogs. Who puts cold, flavorless shredded chicken in a taco salad? My husband who will eat anything couldn't stand the shredded beef in his tacos. Father in law took two bites of his chimi that looks more like a wet Burrito. Not to mention how dirty and outdated the place is. 😫
Don't eat here!! Worst Mexican food in town and over priced!! The service was cold as well as the food!! Definitely not customer service oriented or authentic!!! The workers look as unhappy as the customers!! I don't know how they are staying in business!!! Not worth the experience!!! Shut this place down!!!!
Decent food, prices are a bit high on some items.
Great Mexican food. Moderately priced.
Great food and service evertime!
Great place. Been going there practically my whole life. The food is great and reasonably priced, good service/staff, and the interior is beautiful. Way better than Guadalajara in all aspects.
Very dissatisfied with the customer service of this place. Drove 45 mins to eat there and was treated in a despotic manner by the grandaughter of the owner, who happened to be waitressing today. When I told a waitress what was happening and asked to speak to the manager, instead of bringing the manager, he said: she is the owner's grandaughter, and walked away. Finally, when I talked to the manager, she acknowledged what I told her, but I could tell she already knew.
tacos taste like white people tacos that you make at home. if you want a good taco place. go to the taco shop off broadway. best Mexican food. It’s literally called the taco shop co
The holy grail of Mexican food! I grew up in Tucson and Casa Molina was a staple of my diet. I've eaten Mexican food in hundreds of restaurants in my lifetime, and Casa Molina's food is what I compare everyone else to and no one has ever come close.
Server brought wrong order, yet did not seem to care when told, nor did he correct the order. They still charged full price. Tacos are actually street tacos, yet very over priced. Even happy hour menu is ridiculous. There are dozens of other Mexican restaurant in Tucson that are much better quality for a reasonable price. The servers at all the Casa Molina are either unattentive, ignorant, or dumb. Food is OK, but not worth the price. 0/5 STARS
Host sat us down was very polite. Chips and salsa were almost instant. However when it came time to order no one could be found. We sat with our menus for 15 minute just waiting. No waiter approached us once. We got up and left, spent our money else where.
DO NOT EAT HERE! (Grant and Columbus) This place has horrible customer service! The food was horrible. The beans were were served cold and were sour. The server we had was extremely bad. The salsa had a something in it that looked like a roach. The restrooms are disgusting. They smell badly. We had to wait way too long for our food. There was only 1 small family and a couple in the restaurant. The AC did not work. When I complained the "non manager" person in charge, was arguing with me. Then the server started arguing with me. THIS RESTAURANT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD. SHAME ON THE STAFF AND OWNER!!! HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! DO NOT EAT HERE. THE FOOD IS NOT SAFE!!!!!
Just awful. bad Waiter, bad service. They didn't even write down half my order after waiting 40 minutes for half I had to another 20 for the other half also they got it wrong. After 1 hour of waiting I got the wrong food. It was also pretty old tasting. There are 1000 better place in Tucson than this.
The restaurant was kept clean and very presentable. Upon entry, the restaurant was not busy. Only negative aspect was that no one was up front for about 10 minutes to seat us. We just waited on the benches until someone came. Once some one did come to the front, we were seated quickly and the service was good. The food took a little bit to come out, which is to be expected when your food is made fresh. Everything was absolutely delicious that we ordered. The server took good care of us and we left full and satisfied.
Such authentic tasting food! The atmosphere is calm, the decor is beautiful and true with original paintings, and the service is phenomenal!
The food was delicious. However the waiters and Busboys where a little confused. I had my drinks brought out to me two separate times by two different people.
1st time and my last ..Food was cold at buffet. Don't pay debit/credit because they over charge you by $10.00 to insure you have the funds witch makes no sense to begin with. Then to try to get your $10.00 back you have to take in bank statements to show that they over charged you.
Our very own Casa Molina! We live very close and are so lucky to have such an awesome Mexican restaurant in our neighborhood! Everyone who works here is great. They treat us like family. Hope they are always here! 💜💙💗 The food is great too. 😉
My mango margarita was strong and sugary. My meal was so-so. The refried beans were tasty. I wasn't a fan of the beef taco or the cheese chili. The chips were cold and mediocre but the salsa was spicy and pretty good. The service was fast and friendly.
It was delisioso todo
Food/ atmosphere/ wait-staff all wonderful👍👀👍reasonably luncheon priced🏃would recommend to my own family or friends
Excellent Sunday Buffet. Everything good and great service. Family friendly!
Great refried beans
Food and friends and drinks were on point. Service as well however the place was dirty. Needs a good cleaning. I hope the kitchen was better than the dining room and bathrooms
Loved my new favorite place to eat
Poor service, average food, good atmosphere
